An interesting episode, and I really can understand Pinkie Pie's frustration with dealing with small children. They really are a handful. Similarly, this episode has some interesting repercussions for Fanon. It shows conclusively that children aren't always the same as their parents, even when their parents are the same. Similarly, it must show that inter-species breeding and relationships are now canon. This means Dinky doesn't have to be adopted anymore! Finally, how does Pound Cake fly, when Scootaloo can't? I can kind of understand some of the magic that Pumpkin Cake uses (Though her control over it seems a bit advanced for a baby), but not so much Pound Cake. Does this mean my new favourite way of showing up Rainbow Dash isn't Getting Scootaloo in the Wonderbolts first, but Pound Cake? Nah, Scootaloo is still better IMHO.

I wasn't sure what to think going into this one. Pinkie used to be my least favorite, but she's crept up past Applejack by this point. Not by all that much, but still.

The opening of the episode was really cute. It goes to show just how girly and baby loving the manes can be.
Like Rarity said, because of the species the twins are, it will open up all sorts of gates in the fandom.

I just love how they try EVERYONE else to babysit before Pinkie. All I could think was "If you let Pinkie do it from the get go, you'd have had the time you searched for a babysitter on top of what you ended up having. Geeze...". :p

The babies themselves are just cute as a button. I really like the different ages we've seen, but this one wins for most adorable. Of course, the baby version of just about anything is adorable, and I should have known it would be thrice as adorable with ponies.

I just love how these one month old babies have more control over their flight and magic abilities than Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell. XD That's a slap in the face if I ever saw one! Maybe they can do it while still developing, but once they hit a certain age it stops? It's like why you can't remember before a certain age. You're brain is processing SO much stuff that it has to take it all in and then let you have conscious memories. Maybe once they hit just about a year, they do the same thing. That's when they first start being cognizant of themselves and the world. Who knows?

Overall, I was a fan of this episode. Maybe it's because Pinkie couldn't be her usual carefree self and had to actually be a young adult and take some responsibility. Who knows?

Also, the babies saying Pinkies name at the end sort of melted my heart a little.

Also nice touch with the cough when Pinkie Responsibility Pie's joke fails.

Its not that the babies can perform magic better they just have random spikes in their abilities (assuming Pegasus use magic to fly/walk on clouds) they cant do it all the time like Rarity said in the episode nor can they control it.

All I want to say about this episode was that a massive amount of D'AWWWW was spoken when Pumpkin Cake and Pound Cake said Pinkie Pie in their sleep. IT WAS SO ADORABLE!

Our family had just watched a new episode of Sherlock Holmes called "Hound of the Baskerville". It really put some fear into us. Then we watched the new episode of MLP and the scene where Pound Cake started being spooky reeeeally creeped us out. I found it hilarious that we were creeped out by a one month old pegasus... It was a really heartwarming episode and a lot of fun.
