| Welcome to the forums everyone, and we hope that you enjoy your time here! To prevent unnecessary spam of this topic I have created one that will be stickied for everypony's viewing pleasure. Come on in and introduce yourself! Talk about who you are, who's your favorite pony, your favorite hobbies, what you are looking forward to in SWTOR, what class you are going to play in SWTOR first, and anything else you can think of. I'll go first! Hi everypony! My name is Fluttershy, and I will be one of your amazing Manes of the guild. I love the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic show, you can obviously tell who my favorite pony is (Fluttershy), and I can't get enough videogames. I have been playing since I was a tot on the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and the Nintendo 64. The first class I am going to play is the Jedi Consular specializing in the Seer tree, so yes I am going to be a healer, perfect for Fluttershy isn't it? The number one thing I am looking for in SWTOR is playing with all my fellow bronies. |

| HELLO ALL! I'm Rarity, one of the Manes of the guild. And I must just say that you all look fabulous today, or was it tonight? Hard to tell when somepony is reading a post isn't it? Anyway, moving aside from obvious aspersions of my sanity I would like to say that I am indeed looking forward to being a part of the guild, and lording over everypony helping others feel welcome.
Now, for what is it about me. As you might know I am part marshmallow. Ignore that last sentence, it is of no importance. But I am an avid My Little Pony Fan, to the point of no return or shame. I'm also a rather avid gamer, having played video games ever since my first Atari2600, back when I got it in 1993. Or was it '94? Eh, point being is I always played the outdated games, and it has since turned me into a Retro Gamer. I'm mostly a PC gamer now adays, though I still enjoy my PS3 (With full backwards compatibility), X-box 360 (With less backwards compatibility), my X-box, Wii, Gamecube, Nintendo 64, SNES, Genesis, NES, and of course my handhelds of every gameboy model ever made, two DS', a PSP, and a 3DS. And no, despite my love for the pretties and the pretties' rocks, I do not cover my stuff with rocks.
Also, a quick message to the other Manes, in case you're seeing this. It's usually good internet etiquette to introduce yourself on a forum before randomly posting in the forum. It doesn't matter if everypony already knows everypony else (Which, despite the total of seven users on here I don't know everypony on here, so you can't say you know everypony unless you know me.) it's still polite. |

| Hey all. I'm Rainbow Dash. I am one of your European manes in the guild. I am a huge fan of the My Little Pony show and my favorite pony so far are Rainbow Dash followed closely by Twilight Sparkle. Both of them have pasts very similar to mine.
I have been a regular gamer since '93 when I got my very own Super Nintendo and spent most of my days playing Legend of Zelda: A Link to the past and Super Mario World. I got a Playstation the same year it came out in Europe. Since then I have eagerly followed both Nintendo and Sony, hoping for a fusion to make the Playtendo. :3 Even though I have a X-Box 360 I am not really a huge fan of it. I don't like the fact that I have to pay to play online.
All my years of gaming have made me eager to make my own games. And last year I finally started on the way to make that dream come true. I am currently spending my days studying different ways of game programming. And in two more years I will have my bachelor degree in games. After that I think I will try to make a fully operational game studio with some friends from school.
Games are not all I do for fun. I love to make costumes from games too. I am almost done with the armor from Halo 3, but I put it on ice since fiberglass and resin aren't actually good for my health.. So right now I am using the foam and glue method to make a Jedi knight armor.
I also like hiking in the mountains and Role-Playing.
What I look forward to in SW:TOR is the game in general. I look forward to it even more since I joined this guild. I'll be playing a Jedi knight Guardian and I will go for the defense tree. So I'll be tanking my way through the game

| Hello everypony! I'm Applejack, one of the manes in the guild. I love the MLP:FiM show though I think most of us do. Rainbow Dash is my favorite pony and Applejack is my second favorite. I plan to play a Smuggler/Gunslinger specing into the sharpshooter tree. I feel the space cowboy look is perfect for Applejack. I've been into video games for most of my life. I started playing Starcraft when I was 8. It really got me into RTS and games in general I soon moved on to MMOs such as Ultima Online and Anarchy Online. I prefer PC over consoles. I'm currently playing World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2 and when I get bored Minecraft. What I'm looking forward to in SWTOR is a new scifi MMO and crew skills one thing i never liked about WoW was wasting my time on crafting skills that at end game almost become necessary to stay on par with everyone. now I can get crafting skills and let someone else do the skill grinding while I lvl or whatever. |

| Well hello there. I'm not really used to being involved with forums of any kind, but clearly this is one I can get a feel for, what with all the friendship seeping out of the cracks. I'm Brazen Venture, and I'm just happy to be here after such a pleasant welcome! Just like the rest of us, I enjoy MLP:FiM quite a lot. I find it hard to pick a favourite, but it would probably be Twilight Sparkle, with Rainbow Dash coming in closely with second place.
Since Fluttershy mentioned speaking about your hobbies, I think it's only fair I bore everypony with a few details about myself. I'm a bit of an "adventurer" by nature. Ever since I was very young it just wasn't enough to see the usual method of getting places. So over the years I've gone further out of my way to see more of the world; hiking, mountain-climbing, traveling all over my own country as well as a few others, and one tandem sky-dive. The sky-diving was absolutely amazing, I hope to do a HALO jump at some point! I hear they offer that particular opportunity in Melbourne. Once my application is accepted, I plan to have my future in the Canadian Forces.
Moving along from there, I've been playing games since '94. It started out with just my NES playing Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, Megaman, and Battletoads. Since then I've played almost anything I could, so I won't go into detail listing all of them.
When it comes down to what I want out of SWTOR, I'm looking forward to almost every aspect of it. A big part of it is the story and playing in a friendly atmosphere with fun folks. As for my starting class, I still have no idea what to do. There are so many options and all of them look fun. Please feel free to suggest something that would help out the most. |

| Hi I would be Amorphic, and not like it needs saying or anything but I happen to like the 2 things that make up the very elegant portmanteau of StarPonies.
Anyway, favourite pony would be Luna I especially like all 3 lines she has even though they are just her asking for forgiveness from the apparently all powerful overlord. She better have at least some descent character development next season. A close second would be Fluttershy just because its Fluttershy. If you don't like Fluttershy you have no soul.
Moving on, I have been a star wars fan for a while. I have played about 20 star wars games with the best easily being KotOR and KotOR 2. I thought KotOR 2 had a very good chance to be better than the first for a long time until the ending happened. I honestly can't recall what actually did happen there. I remember that Kreia woman and scar man (it has been so long I can't remember one of the main characters names) being there and then the credits I think? So of course I have been looking forward to this game for some years now ever since it was first announced.
For other gaming I didn't get into it until I played the Original C&C which was one of the first games I ever played. Since then Rome Total War along with Red Alert 2 are some of my favourite games. I'm not even close to a hardcore gamer though.
So this is me, hopefully the game we all want won't get delayed for a further year then. |

| Hello again, everypony! I'm feeling lazy today, so I am simply going to copy and paste my introduction from our swtor.com forum: - Quote :
- PONIES!
I got into Friendship is Magic in early April. My first exposure was the parody video "Ponycraft 2," but at the time, I thought it was merely a joke. A couple of weeks later, I decided to check on one of my favorite webcomics, "Fanboys." The comic hadn't updated in several months, so I don't know what made me check the site, but sure enough they had just posted this comic. It might sound strange, but that was all it took to get me to give the show a try, and I have been obsessed ever since. My favorite pony is Twilight Sparkle, and my favorite episode is "The Cutie Mark Chronicles."
Gaming I have been gaming since a very young age, my first system actually being the original Game Boy, although I cannot remember how old I was when I got it. I am primarily a console gamer now, with the Xbox 360 being my medium of choice. If you want to send me a friend request, my gamertag is "BlastingGravy." Just make sure you let me know that you're from the guild, as I usually don't accept random requests. Knights of the Old Republic is my favorite game of all time, and I have been tracking the progress of TOR since it was first announced. In fact, I'm pretty sure that this account was made the day they opened beta sign-ups (I remember the site going down for almost a week from traffic overload), although I still haven't gotten in yet. I have only a little experience with MMO's, and that was several years ago. I have thought about getting into them again, but then I remember that I would probably abandon them once TOR comes out anyway.
I'm looking forward to playing with you all!
In love and friendship, BlastingGravy EDIT: Also, I'm a Royal Guard now. Royal Guards are cool.

| Well hey there, everypony! I figure I should do a nice intro here, considering it’s polite to do that and all. Silverstar Streak reporting in *salute* Silver for short, since that’s a doozy of a name (sorta a combination of two names I generally use online). Intro away!
PONIES!
Well then. Ponies. What can I say about ponies? Well, they have methodically and completely consumed my soul and replaced it with pony. It’s more awesome than you might think. I believe it was midway through the initial run of the first season around January or February that I came across a post on a random non-pony board. There was a posted link to the first episode, daring people not to get hooked. I had not even herd of FiM ponies at that point. I just knew that, IMO, the previous iterations of MLP were terrible. I assumed the same for this version.
I took the challenge and failed. I failed hard. A few episodes in and I was a goner. From doubter to lover in 10 seconds flat, as it were. Now I do things like ride around in my Dashified car with pony songs playing, sans the shame.
Favorite pony is Rainbow Dash without question. Rarity is probably second, although Twilight and Fluttershy are close by. It’s hard to rank ponies. I also think I’m one of the few that actually doesn’t mind the CMC. Hence the avatar.
Video Games:
I’ve been playing these lovely things since the original Nintendo when I was quite wee. Then came Super Nintendo, PS2, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox360, and PS3. Also had the original Gameboy, a DS, a PSP, and a Sega Game Gear. I’ve been playing computer games for a while too. Games like the original Duke Nukem, Quake, Starcraft, Command and Conquer, Heroes of might and Magic, some of those old Sierra games, Diablo, the Elder Scrolls series, Half Life, etc.
MMO’s include Everquest, EQII, WoW, Aion, Warhammer, and sort of a brief excursion into FF11, although I don’t really count that.
Favorite games are generally RPG’s. Love the Elder Scrolls stuff, old school Final Fantasy games, the Suikoden series, The Witcher, etc. Not sure I can pick a single favorite game of all time. That would be too difficult.
SWTOR:
Well, short story is that I’m gonna be a Smuggler. Heck yeah. Gunslinger specialization for sure. Should be a change in setting from the fantasy MMO’s, which will be nice. Have always been a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy. Also looking forward to getting to know all you bronies and fellow guild members alike and having some good ole’ fun yeah? Freaking dagnabbit right!
General Me:
Besides the games and the ponies, I’m into reading, writing, and seeing new places. I love to hike in the mountains, but haven’t had a chance to do that in a while. I’ve been to Australia (where I went skydiving. BEST thing ever!) and hope to get out to some other countries at some point.
I’m a fan of Firefly and Doctor Who.
I love being up high. I also love flying when I get the chance. The weather right before storms on a cool night is fantastic. I dunno about you, but I love the feeling of wind whipping around me. Sort of an electric feeling, right? It’s aces.
Personality wise, IRL and sometimes online, I tend to be a bit shy at first, but I am generally chill and can be sarcastic. I don’t take things too seriously. It makes for too much stress.
Looking forward to playing with you guys. Should be a fine old time. Kick flank, y’all. Heck yeah!
A pleasure to make your acquaintances, to be sure. |

| Hello, everypony! The name's Tyclo, but you can call me whatever you would like to. With that out of the way, let me tell you a bit about myself. I have been a gamer since as long as I can remember, it was kind of a trend in the family, and up to this day I am still a gamer. I bounce between my Xbox 360 and my PC, although as of late I have been favoring the PC (don't tell the Xbox, she gets jealous!). I played Star Wars Galaxies for several years, although do not play it anymore, I gave my shot at WoW a few years back, too, but hated it and haven't even thought of touching it since. Currently, I am playing another MMORPG, RIFT, and spending my time bouncing between League of Legends and Minecraft with a friend of mine.
I also enjoy video production and editing, and intend to go to college for it once I am through with high school. Aside from that, I love sitting down for a few and just watching MLP:FiM when I get a chance to. Just waiting for the next season as of now.
In SWTOR, I intend to be a Smuggler, specializing more in a damaging area than anything else. I have always played the high damage dealers in the other MMO's I've played, so I figured I'd keep that trend going.
Anyways, that's about all I can think to say for now. Can't wait to meet everypony, and play SWTOR with you!
May Celestia be with you! |

| Hello. I'm DeevFactor, but calling me Deev is just fine. I'm a person and I exist, generally. I'm not too much of a social person, but that doesn't mean that I won't help out in whatever could be necessary. Give me time and I'll end up being more talkative. My gaming experience dates back to the NES days. I've played my share of classic and crummy games over the years. The racing genre is my favorite, although there are few games that satisfy my standards. I've played a few different MMOs, though I never got deep into any of them. The only MMO game that I sunk a lot of time into was actually Hello Kitty Online (though most of that time was chatting with guild folk) where most of the player base is female. It was once rather active (though smallish), but the player base was dropping off little by little due to a lack of compelling game content (yes, I know you're giggling at this). I left the game last year due to various issues, so I do not know the current state of the game. So regarding SWTOR, I have been tracking its progress for a long time, and I applied for beta when it first came about (which I'm still waiting on). I haven't ultimately decided on a class just yet, but I tend to go with the warrior-type as I usually play solo throughout my MMO experience. I think this looks to be the MMO that I can spend some serious time in and I would be glad to jump into it from the time the game launches. Ponies? Yes, I like those. I wouldn't be here if I didn't. |

| So, introduction stuff. I can do that. Chewbacabra is my name from the SWTOR forums, as it was from the Galaxies forums way back before the game launched. It is not something I would name a pony, but I can't think of a better one right now.
PONIES! I was utterly indifferent to MLP in general until a friend made me watch Swarm of the Century, which I thought was hilarious. If that didn't hook me, Bridle Gossip certainly did, and by the time Winter Wrap-Up rolled around, I had completely caught up with the series and was eagerly waiting for more. My favorite pony is Fluttershy Twilight Sparkle Rainbow Dash Rarity Pinkie Pie.
MMOs: I've played a lot of MMOs, going back to Ultima Online. At the moment I mainly play WoW, though I've got a couple of friends I do Star Trek Online with about once a month. I mainly play WoW solo, but I like being part of a larger community as I do so, thus most of my characters are in friendly, casual guilds.
SWTOR: I'm actually not paying much attention to this game right now. Star Wars, as a license, has been run into the ground as far as I'm concerned. My interest stems from the fact that Bioware has made some really good games, and I'm curious to see their first MMO. Unless early reports scare me away (which is what happened with Galaxies) I will give it a try, and hopefully it will be an excellent game because Blizzard could use some real competition. And if I'm going to play, I may as well play with ponies, so we can overthrow the Sith Empire and the evil Empress Trollestia. ^^ |

| Hello, I'm Crickhollow! I've never been good with introductions, but I'll do my best. I was first "exposed" to ponies when I saw videos of them on youtube. After reading up about it, I decided to try and watch the first episode. I couldn't make it past the opening. What convinced me to try again was when I watched Ponies: The Anthology. After watching it, I decided to watch another episode, and I chose Dragonshy. I've been hooked ever since! My favorite ponies are Rarity and Fluttershy. Gaming-wise, I've been playing for as long as I can remember. I started with RTS games and later moved on to FPSes and RPGs. Currently, I'm playing Okamiden and OoT 3DS. MMO-Wise, I've played basically every MMO since City of Heroes came out at least once. Currently, I'm playing WoW (Which I will be ending my subscription of) and Champions Online. Planetside so far have been my favorite. For SWTOR, I'll be playing whatever the group needs, really. I have most experience being a DPS, but I've tanked before. I'll probably be a trooper if I can, though, because I think everyone on the Republic side will be either a Jedi or a Smuggler. Generally about me, I like reading, photography, and jogging. I am also a massive fan of J.R.R. Tolkien's works, and the Peter Jackson movie adaptions of the LoTR novels. Personality wise I'm very shy, and not good at starting conversations, but I like contributing to one that starts. I look forward to playing with you guys! |

| 'Sup. Yeah see. My IGN is Ekeli. I'm going to be your general all around (self) peacekeeper. I just started watching Friendship is Magic about 2 weeks ago because of the thread on mmo-champion, I didn't' realize there was an ignore option (wouldn't have used it anyway) and I, being the curiously easy to get caving person I am, of course decided to check it out. I didn't cave right away though, I was more like a werewolf. The first 3 nights I was angry as all hell then something weird happened, I don't know what but here I am. My favorite pony is Scootaloo, yeah, she's awesome. I think my favorite fan video is What Pinkie Pie's song really sounded like. Hobbies: I really like playing video games. (Yeah I know big surprise there right?) I also play Magic: The Gathering, read books, stay up way too late (I think I'm trying to kill myself secretly[not really just talking out my arse]) I've been playing them ever since I first owned a SEGA Genesis. Sonic the Hedgehog is bad-ass. My first PC game was DOOM at the age of 4. Ever since I'm scared shirtless(spell-check suggested this) every time I play doom. It's the enemy noises! They scare me like crazy! I think I first got into rpgs with Icewind Dale 2, Baldur's Gate's dungeon crawling cousin.(Because I loved the icewind dale book series) That was when my gaming matured. Note: I also love biking hiking camping rambling on about nothing and butchering english punctuation online.(nah I try to keep up grammar... sometimes.) As for swtor I'm looking forward to everything. Especially evasion tanking as my god dang Jedi Shadow! (not to mention sneaking up on the empire) Despite Pegasi Ponies being classified as "smugglers" I think scootaloo is best as a jedi Shadow, so look forward to some fanart featuring her and a saberstaff. By the way if any of you read this be sure to try to get me to stop typing fgfs. Also I changed my mind about the peacekeeper thing but decided not to delete it. Edit: is this siggy too large? |

| Official intro.. well here goes.... oh look at that pretty flower over there ... /wanders off ... oh yeah, I'm Pinkie_Pie, duh. My handle on the SWTOR boards is Candessina. I've only recently discovered the joy that is MLP: Friendship is Magic, and got hooked instantly. I'm sure you can tell which pony I enjoy most. Funny thing is that I'm probably closer to a combo of Twilight Sparkle and Applejack in temperament and behavior. Pinkie Pie just makes me smile more. I'm an avid gamer, nearly obsessively so. Gaming, in one form or another has been a part of my life since early childhood, and can't really imagine it being any other way. To date myself, I recall when the Pong was all the rave to have. Since then, I've played far too many console and PC games to recall, although I've always been more partial to RPG flavored ones. When it comes to MMOs, I like to think of myself as casual-hardcore. I like spreadsheets and working with numbers, I also have obsessive compulsive tendencies especially in regards to world exploration and crafting. Combined with a competitive drive, it tends to manifest in a min/max mindset during character development. Interestingly though is that my competitive streak is not aimed at other players, rather the game and my own performance in relation to the game environment. Thus I'm not very good at PvP, but will crunch numbers and fiddle with talent trees to glean every little ounce of performance from a spec to suit "my" PvE playstyle (not necessarily the current "best build"/BotM). I'm also an alt-o-holic I guess. I tend not to think of my other characters as alts, because I enjoy playing and exploring the other classes just as much as the first character I create. This is where I think/hope TOR will finally allow me to enjoy playing multiple characters even more fun, especially as I plan on rolling one of each base class and in some cases one of each advanced class. Let's see what else can I poach from my guild application, * Crafting: I like to craft. * Mentoring: I enjoy helping folks improve/get the most out of their characters. * Tour Guide: I'm a trail blazer. I leave no stone unturned, regardless of repair costs. =) * Theory Crafting: I love spreadsheets. I'm in the process of building some already (even w/out data) * Humor: I'm sarcastic, but in a friendly way. I"m not a super chatty Kathy, so you likely won't see a ton of posts from me in the forums or on Vent/TS, etc. However, if there is something I feel I can contribute to or I"m in humor mode, you may see a spike of activity. Hrrmmm.... I think that's enough of a wall-o-text for the time being. I'm sure as time goes by y'all will get more of a feeling for me. And on that note, happy to be here. Looking forward to playing with a nice group of folks. |

| Hmmm... Introductions. I was never good at these
As far as ponies go, I was introduced shortly after Party of One came out. I had been playing RIFT and took a break to draw something, but hurt my hand. I figured that I couldn't draw with it at the moment and should find something else to do. I remembered seeing a lot about My Little Pony on TV Tropes and Furaffinity, so I decided to see what all the fuss was about. I started at the beginning and didn't stop watching until I had to go to sleep for work the next morning. I draw a good amount of fan art, submit to the Artist Training Ground Alumni on DeviantArt each week, and am drawing a ponified comic rendition of Jonathan Coulton's The Future Soon. My favorite pony is Twilight Sparkle and my favorite member of the CMC is Sweetie Belle, the latter of which I attribute to the Buster Keaton quote "The audience loves a slow thinker."
I've been playing video games since I got an NES at around age 5 and mostly prefer RPGs. For MMOs, my first was probably the MUD Materia Magicka, but I didn't play very much. I've played a large number of MMOs on and off, but didn't really get in to any seriously until World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, in which I was in the same guild as Apple Cider from Bronyville.
For my playstyle, I tend to play a lot like a hardcore player, but due to my current schedule am rather limited to being more casual. I enjoy theorycrafting and finding what small changes I can make to improve my effectiveness. I prefer playing dedicated support classes, but since few MMOs have those, I usually play a tank, although I am also willing to play a healer. You typically won't find me PvPing unless I see a PvP reward that will really help in PvE, since I don't enjoy it at all.
I sort of enjoy alts, but since I don't want to divert energy in to working on one until I have everything perfect on my main, I rarely have more than 1 or 2, which I rarely use
Socially, I'm a bit shy at first, but once I get to know people, I can be rather excitable and a bit too talkative for my own good. I try to talk about things that are relevant, but when I run out, I just tend to talk about whatever
At this point, I still feel I should be telling you more about my self, but I can't think of anything offhand (except "Visit my DeviantArt at rydelfox.deviantart.com) and I've already created a huge wall of text, so I'll shut up now |

Whilst I am not usually an MMO fan, I enjoyed Galaxies allot and after playing KOTOR for so long, I am stoked for SW:TOR. I have always had trouble joining a community in MMO's and the internet in general. However, I have been a member a few brony community's now and Love them all. Finding a SW:TOW guild based around MLP is fantastic and I hope to be a contributing part of the guild. I look forward to meeting and grouping with you guys |

Hello out there!
I am called Gregam and I have just applied to your guild.
Ponies info
I got started on ponies about four months back when I started to see pony pictures running around the web. It got my curiosity up but I didn't look much further into it, until about a month later my brother mentioned that it was a show. We began watching it and I was hooked from the very first episode. My favorite pony is Applejack.
Gaming info
I have been gaming since I was about 6, with games like "Roger Rabbit Teaches Typing" and "Magic Mountain". My first console was the Sega Master system, and my family would play that along with me. We have expanded our consoles to include the Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, and the PS2. I did not get into MMORPGs for a long time. I started wondering about the scene and started to investigate. My very first MMO was Maplestory. After awhile though, I found out that gaming alone in an MMO was tough so I started listening to what my friends were playing. I wound up playing World of Warcraft for awhile, then Star Trek and a lot of other games. I'm starting to think I need to choose one MMO and stick with it and this group sounds fun and has a good feeling about it.
I also play a fair amount of FPSs. TF2 is amongst them (Although I have not played it in awhile).
My favorite games are Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSone and Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the PS2.
I usually like to play a tank or a healer, so I gravitate towards those types of classes. At the moment for SWTOR, I am planning on playing a trooper. I don't know which branch I will go down yet.
Other stuff
I enjoy getting outside, exercising, working, singing, playing bagpipes, swimming, reading, and just playing. I am a fan of Firefly (I even have my own browncoat, which I am going to wear to PAX 2011), Star Trek, Farscape, and Doctor Who.
Right now I am university bound, and it looks to be a rather full first term. I will try to get on on the weekends and sometimes in the evenings.
I have never applied to a guild that I have not known anyone in, so I am a little nervous.
I look forward to getting to know everypony and playing the game with the herd. Yeeehay! |

| Took me way too long to join this forum, but better late than never right?
While my tag for this forum is WarlordSparkle, I have gone by Donut, Private Donut, or Zsinj in other games, so I'll respond to any of those. I have a rather addictive personality, so its only natural that I latched onto MLP as hard as I did. I'm a huge fan of the Star Wars expanded universe, and could pretty much tell anyone anything that happens in it.
I used to play WoW for about 4 years or so, starting in vanilla, where I didn't really do a whole lot, but in Burning Crusade I got up to Eredar twins in Sunwell, and was the top dps (hunter) in my guild. Didn't accomplish much in Lich King, but managed to see everything up to Sindragosa and Lich King, and did a bit of Cataclysm.
When I played wow, I was a bit of a theorycraft nut, and was on EJ constantly. I love raids, and I loved min/maxing, and most of all, I love an archer class in pretty much anything I play. With WoW, though, I got annoyed when I was only able to DPS and had to make alts to heal or tank, so for TOR I plan to roll Consular and swap between DPS and Heals whenever needed. Or possibly Smugger, I need to make a few characters to decide what class I like the feel of most.
And for pony, my favorite is Twilight, since I can relate to her mostly, and favorite episode is Cutie Mark Chronicles. My steam tag atm is Twilight-Sparkle. |

| Hello everyone! I joined very recently and just submitted my introductions on the Official Introduction thread on the SWTOR website and figured I'd post what I put there, to here:
Hello everyone! I'm Desert Bear! A distant relative of another bear you may or may not be familiar with! I may be pretty late here but I thought I'd type this out anyway!
Pony Stuff:
I am not a Brony, have not seen a single episode though I would say I could probably be converted if moved in the right direction. I learned of the Bronies on the cheezburger network, more specifically bronies.memebase. I saw the link down there at the bottom and went inside out of curiosity. It was surprisingly entertaining and piqued my interest so I explored the Brony community and learned of it's origins. From my limited knowledge I have a certain level of respect for this group of individuals and just had to join this guild when I found it. (:
Gaming: I've been gaming since I was around 6 or 7. I started on the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis. Was addicted to Sonic and Mario for the vast majority of my childhood. Then gameboys hit the shelves and was glued to those. Eventually as newer games and systems came out I branched into those. I've been primarily a console gamer, playing turn-based RPGS were my favorites. I've only recently crawled my way into Online games, a couple years I've at it, primarily with F2P games. I'm realizing that P2P games are cheaper ironically. Finding SWTOR was more or less by accident. I had been on a long binge of KOTOR 2, getting into the story and at the end I wasn't satisfied because I wanted to know more about Revan. So I searched for anything about a KOTOR 3; which brought me to the main website here at SWTOR. At first I was hesitant, but gradually my interest turned into full-fledged I-cant-wait-for-this hype. I am looking forward to Playing in the Galaxy with you all!
I'm looking forward to being immersed in this Guild, Every Brony I've met has been an awesome individual and very fun. So I knew I couldn't go wrong here. I am playing a Smuggler Gunslinger, I couldn't resist the dual blaster pistols and figured I could groin kick some tolerance into those Sith. Thank you for including me and hope we can get to spread Love and Tolerance throughout the galaxy soon! |

| Silly me, I introduced myself first on the less active forum.
Pony:
Became interested from seeing pony reaction images on 4chan's /v/. They were colorful and cute, and the style really appealed to me. Then I found out about ponychan and I haven't wanted to go back. Since I've started going to ponychan I've picked up drawing again. I had tried to draw a long time ago on 4chan but they mocked me and I quit. On ponychan I receive nothing but kind words and encouragement, even when I've failed.
Vidya:
Gaming since I could hold a controller, with the earliest I can recollect being Zelda and Mario Bros. My grandma was the one who got me into gaming, and the Zeldas were her favorite. She was pretty awesome at Zelda II, which I believe dispels the stereotype that all elderly gamers are casual.
As a gamer I'm pretty open-minded and give everything a shot. My preference of late is Terraria, Frozen Synapse. and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I've started playing KOTOR again, while craving TOR. I've never managed to get in very far, the early game seems like such a bore.
The Old Republic:
Plan on being a Smuggler, and more than likely a Scoundrel as I like the varied utilities. Gunslinger kind of appeals to me as well, since I'm a fan of the Dark Tower series. I definitely love PvP; cloak, scattergun, cover-use, and healing sounds like an excellent combo for trolling the Imperials in addition to having PvE uses.
This Forum:
SO...MUCH...PINK! I look forward to working with fellow mature adults to progress through this game. With that being said...how many of you snarky bastards are looking forward to killing shit with various lasers/explosives?

| All of your introductions are just so fun to read! I'm really happy in the variety of gamers and bronies alike I am seeing though. You all are making me one happy pony. - Infernal_Dalek wrote:

Also, I think we all are looking forward to some combat, especially Gravy. He just wants his pink armor so bad. |

| Mornin' there! *tips hat*
My name (or rather, alias) is Jack, which is one of my common internetnames. On the official Swtor forums, I'm DarthAthanos (old name; I regret it), in case you were wondering.
I, as everypony else here, is a brony ^^ I don't think I'm capable of naming my favourite though... Unless "Everypony!" counts. xD If I was forced to chose, I might have gone for Twilight though; her personality is surprisingly simalar to my own.
This is already the second guild I am in before TOR releases. In my previous one (which I joined due to an IRL friend of mine convincing me) I started up a pony-thread in an attempt to bronify the forums. Unfortunantly, this had disastrous consequenses, since everyone there (bar one or two) were haters. I was pretty much bullied out of the guild, though I kept the fight going a long while. The good thing is that I still have access to their forums, and all the trolls (after being pressured by the guild leader, who is a brony too) have apologized/been demoted, so I will continue to keep the ponythread alive. But, I needed a new guild, and I figured that "Hey! This guild is BOUND to be full of nice folks! Or at the very least, a higher number of nice folks than normal on the internet." I'm hoping that my initial reaction will prove true =D
My gaming history is... varied. I've played a little of this and a little of that for most of my life; my first game (that I remember) was Age of Empires 2, an RTS game on the PC. In the later years, I have been playing a lot of WoW, but quit after I became too bored to bother continuing. I'm hoping that this game (and you guys) will be awesome enough to continue playing =D
I haven't pre-ordered the game yet, due to lack of fundings, but I think that will change fairly soon. Once the game starts, I will (at first) play a Jedi Knight, with the Sentinel spec. I have always loved dual-weilding sabers =D The second class I will play is either a Jedi Consular (with the sage specc, if that was the one for DPS), OR a Sith Inquisitor. Haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning towards the Sith. Which means that I hope there is a Sith brony guild out there too xD
My role ingame will highly likely be DPS PvE. I pretty much hate PvP, and I don't like starting as a healer or a tank, so... yeah. xD
Now, maybe a bit about myself... Let's see; I live in Norway and I am 19 years old. I currently attend the University of Bergen at my first year of my bachelors degree in physics. In my spare time, when I'm not reading stuff (a beloved spare-time activity of mine) or playing games, I usually... sleep. xD But yeah, jokes aside; I also train jujitsu twice a week, and I'm currently at yellow belt. For those who don't know what grade that is... it's pretty much nothing. xD It's the degree above white; I have been training since last christmas, and stopped during the summer holidays due to nowhere to train (my old dojo closed down during the summer). I train for fun and to learn self-defence (and to get in shape xD ), so I'm not doing competition training.
Now, did I mention I read a lot? I do. Most of my days consist in reading... something. Of course, being on the internet usually involves that, but still. I read a lot of fanfiction, most of whom now lately are ponyfics. I have also tried my hand at fanfiction writing, which actually goes pretty well if I can motivate my ass long enough to finish it. I'm currently halfway through a tiny trollestia-fic, and I hope I can finish it. =D
Lets see.... I think that was it. Sorry for wall of text folks! xD
TL;DR version: Hey! I'm new! I hope you guys are as awesome as I think you'll be! =D |

| Hey there bronies. I'm XYondaimeX, Was thinking of grabbing The name Rainbow Dash as she is my fav pony, but I don't plan to be a member of your fabulous guild, so I'll leave it for somebody else!
Anywho, if your wondering exactly why i'm here, I'm not so sure. I recently discovered MLP:FIM through youtube and those awfully delightful MLP one liners. Then when I saw AngelFluttershy, and this guild, I sent Fluttershy a PM saying I loved her/his name and guild name. where He/She (sorry, I'm not 100% sure of Fluttershy's sex, so I'll wait/look around for her/his sex....) Invited me over to these forums. I also had a sneaking suspicion my guild mates over at impsec weren't exactly fans of My Little Ponies like I am.
It just occurred to me, I will eventually will be rolling Republic to experience the Republic Story lines. Don't suppose I could join you guys when I begin to roll Rep?
Back on topic! I'm an 18 year old Canadian prairie boy, who wants to be a video game programmer. i've been gaming since I was about 4 I think. I originally started back on the N64 with F zero X. A futuristic Racing game. I hadn't really become all that serious with gaming, until I came upon a little unknown gem called : (eager and excited voice.) The Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of time! at the age of 6 or so. It wasn't until I was 12 or so when I found Final Fantasy VII. When I played this game, it blew my poor little mind. It was this game that had made me finally decide to become a video game developer.
Most of the stuff I do for fun right now is listen to some dubstep (wubwubwubwub) and Video Game ReMix's by the VGM appreciators over at OverClocked Remix (OCRemix) While cruising the TOR forums,(Or playing Video Games with my little bros.) poring over any new info.
Edit: I unfortunately have not been able to find MLP on the old boob tube. don't suppose somebody could point me towards a place where I can watch some MLP online? |
