The new song was pretty epic and AJ learned the lesson I learn everyday, nothing, because I am always right. Also, adorable Fluttershy squeak!

God I loved this episode for once AJ was in the right! "Dear Princess I didn't learn anything" as soon as I heard that I laughed our doctor whooves as time keeper was awesome and Rainbow Dash was great this episode all she wanted was some fucking cider! And it took her all episode long to get it I kinda feel sorry for her also I kinda lost respect for pinkie tho invite all of ponyville to camp out side the farm for cider but dont invite or tell your friends about it. Then brag to Rainbow how good the cider was when she didnt get any WTF! dick move pinkie dick move.

I thought it was a solid episode. The song and dance bit by Flim and Flam was great. Very 1920's. The whole thing was just a take on the John Henry or Paul Bunyan story, but that's ok. It was still great!
Poor Rainbow Dash... I felt so bad the whole episode because of her lack of cider.
Anyone else notice that Bon Bon's voice was uh...quite manish?
And...anyone else think that this picture is going to have some meme to go with it?
All in all, it was a good episode. I loved Applejack's letter to Celestia as well "LULZ! I WAS TEH RIGHT!" XD

Wow, this episode made me smile a lot through it. The Flim flam brothers reminded me of "The Music Man". Applejack "Uh hum... I didn't learn anything because I was right all along!"
All in all, a great episode. Using themes from Old west legends was nice to see.

It's not really Old West, it's more of a trope with Steampunk/Victorian Literature, most of the examples I can really think of are from London and Paris.
HOWEVER! This was a great episode.
