Ifeel like the episdoes are getting worse definitly didn't like this one maybe it was cuz they gave her a pet that cant even walk on clouds. but at least we got a song but not just any song a song sung by Rainbow. after seeing this tho I feel they should have just left Rainbow petless heres to hoping the next rainbow episode is better and we get an Applejack episode soon

I was unhappy with the results. Saw the turtle put on the shades and knew right then.
But yes, the song was the best part of the episode

This was a really great episode. It had a song, it featured Rainbow and it had a lot of funny jokes. Probably the second best episode of the season so far behind Lesson Zero.

I really enjoyed the episode myself. It kept me interested, had a few great laughs in it, and Tank is just epic. Did anyone else feel bad for the way Dash treated the animals? I was like "NO! NOT THE THORNS!" I am glad to see Fluttershy finally getting some attention. She has been absent for sooooo long! Also, Derpy is now a Scootaloo, Studio B keeps freaking with our fanon (check the chicken coop at the 7:00 mark).

Great episode, and the difference between a turtle and a tortoise is simple. Turtles are amphibious, tortoises are not. This means that turtles tend to have webbed feet while tortoises have more stumps for feet.

Actually, if I understood wikipedia correctly, then "turtles" are actually a common name for reptiles of the order Testudines. A tortoise, however, is a (quoting) "a family of land-dwelling reptiles of the order of turtles". So a tortoise is a subgroup of turtles; technically, that means that Tank can indeed be called a turtle, though "tortoise" would be a more specific term.

It is always good that there are tanks out there, making sure everyone is okay. I enjoyed seeing the tortoise go out and win the day.
When Rainbow dash was riding him at the end, I couldn't help but think of the Mumakil's and their Oliphants. Must have been the swaying back and forth.
All in all a good episode. I'm still waiting for an episode with Scootaloo.

It's 1080p, so the quality is tops. Also, pay very close attention at 3:34 for a cameo from a (not) very unexpected pony. The video points it out, and i'm sure you'll go back and rewatch it and do a double and maybe even a triple take.

Thoughts on technology: Tanks got referenced again Rainbow Dash wanted her pet to be "fast as a bullet" (although, this could be a sling rather than a gun) Apparently ponies have invented a Guillotine.
