Hey everyone! This is the official thread for our entirely unofficial guild events know as "Story Time with Pinkie." If you have any general comments or suggestions for new readings, post them here.
What I would like to do sometime in the near future is read some MLP fanfics. However, I'd like to get you guys in on it. I'll narrate the story, and I'll have each of you (who wants to do it) voice a character. I've seen this done before in podcasts, and it seemed like a lot of fun. For our first attempt at this, I would prefer to use a fic that is both reasonably short (one sitting), and known to be good. I'm thinking of "Sunny Skies All Day Long," but feel free to give me suggestions of your own. I'd also like to know how you think I should determine who voices what character. Should it be randomized, requested, or subject to my maniacal whims?

sounds like fun would be great if we could have it on a set time though or at least on the weekends I usually get home when you go to sleep also would definetly be fun to get in on the voicing would be great to record them and put them up on that youtube channel we called "SWTORPonies"
I would absolutely love to do this one eventually, but I would like a shorter one for our first go at it. I have a feeling our first attempt is going to be a mess, which wouldn't do that fic justice.

My problem is not tracking fics <30k words then
EDIT: Okay I actually do have 2 that are between 5-10k...but they're romance (and I know most people hate that).

If enough people show up, we might just do it tonight at about 9:00-9:30 EST. There is no RP, and I'll most likely be busy most of next weekend, so tonight seems like as good a time as any.

It's time to decide what MLP fanfic we will read next. Since this is likely to be much longer than the last one, we will read it at a regularly scheduled time at 9 pm EST on Tuesdays. Your choices are all suggestions that have been made. If you want another one, let me know. Go vote!

This is the one where Fluttershy makes Rainbow Dash her baby EDIT: Disregard, I'm thinking of a different story. This fandom has some weird stories.

After a quick search on Fimfiction I made my pick, btw what does the Slice of Life tag mean?

Slice of life would be a story about a smaller part of a character/group's life. A smaller adventure like a trip to the big city. basically its suppose to highlight a certain part of their life and you probably wont see any big adventure to save the world or ponykind.

On April 2nd, I will be having a very special Story Time Corner with Pinkie. I'll be reading the brand new Friendship is Magic book, "Twilight Sparkle and the Crystal Heart Spell," by G. M. Barrow. You can find the synopsis below.
