I don't know I'd any of you Ponies remember me, but it is I, Poptard. I've been gone for a few months now, due to a lack of interest and hardware troubles resulting in me not bothering with this game until my subscription expired.

However, this rumor I heard was enough to make me reconsider. I might be able to continue where I left off, despite how far I've fallen behind.

So, I ask, is this rumor true? If it is, should I come back? What new features have I missed out on? And do people still laugh at the elevators meme I started?

The game is not currently free to play, however they have talked about it. I doubt it will be anytime soon when/if they switch to a free to play model.

Free to play this year? no, only up to level 15 in July.
Next year? maybe. Depends on how well they do with the future patches.
