Just curious. I watched the US vs. Ireland match the other night and it was awesome! The US lost, but woooo! was it a great game, much closer than anyone expected.

I plan on watching all the US matches and anything else they show on universal sports, since I don't have cable. If my budget allowed I would have sprung for the package that would have allowed me to stream all the games via internet. /sigh Next time.

I grew up on American football and only had the vaguest notion of rugby growing up. It's unfortunate, because having recently been able to catch some games on universal sports channel earlier this summer, I've become quite the fan.

Yeah I was expecting Ireland to beat the US by about 50.

I just learned two days ago that there is a Women's World (Soccer/Football) Cup. I seriously never knew that women's sports were worldwide.

Yeah Rugby is pretty massive.

Well, the US managed to win against Russia, whew! Fortunately my neighbors work evenings so I don't have to worry about waking them with my enthusiasm.

Good luck to England. They have their work cut out for them. Georgia gave Scotland a tougher time than expected it seems, same with Romania. Then have to finish off with Scotland so will definitely be one to watch, listen to in my case.
