Imma be a dick and ask an insane question in Jeopardy style. This large band of pirates are notorious for their brutality and skill with a starship. They are also known to be the most skilled bounty hunters, and at one point in time hijacked an Imperial Star Destroyer. Okay, it's not that tough, but I was trying to come up with facts and wordings that probably aren't on the wikia.

Off the cuff, the only organization that fits that are the Mandalorians, but I don't think that's right.

I'm not great at lore, but I'll take a wag and say, What are the Trandoshans?

It's not the Noghri, is it? They were just sick and could kill just about anyone. Vader was the only person who could stop them, so they sort of treated him like a god. They also knew his scent, so when they were sent after Leia by Grand Admiral Thrawn, they couldn't kill her because she was the daughter of the Malyrush (what they called Vader) and they can smell bloodlines. Instead, they became her sworn bodyguards and were just epic. It wasn't until the Yuuzhan Vong showed up that they were bested. Leia ended up having two Noghri with her at all times after that because one wasn't enough to stop a vong. She went through like, a dozen Noghri during that epic series.

There is no way you could ever classify them as pirates. Noghri were badass and all, but they cannot fit this question.

I told everyone it was pretty easy in my post. I mean really people, they are known as the Black Sun Pirates. I thought pirates made it a dead giveaway. All you ponies think waaaaay too much about this stuff. Anyways, its Doombah's turn to ask a question.

The Yuuzahn Vong came to the galaxy around the time of Episode I (33 BBY) and lived in secrecy learning all they could about the galaxy until the time came to assault Vector Prime (25 ABY). However, there is a reference to them in KOTOR. Who mentions them to you?
