| Coming from someone with costume experience, that is fucking epic! I did Starkiller and all he had was a chest plate, but you have a full suit to handle. Looks like you are off to a great start though! _________________ |

| I know how to make cloaks, sorta. I do know how to sew, providing I have a pattern. That's going to be where you're going to need to look is for a cloak pattern. As for the colour, depends on what you're going for. If you're going for a Rainbow Dash Jedi, then Rainbow. If you're going for traditionalist then go for brown. Either way you sir, are 20% cooler. _________________ Rarity is NOT part marshmallow. Where ever did you get the idea that I was darling?

| I could try and get my sister to help you out, she has like 100+ cosplay friends, but she is always busy so I promise nothing XD.
You could always buy a cloak and die it a color, but I wouldn't try rainbow unless you have some awesome cloth and dying supplies. _________________ |

| Brown cloak looks fine if you go that way, just make sure it is a good light brown. If it is too dark then it will look meeeh. I like the designs! _________________ |

| I think I like the rainbow cloak better, but that would probably be a LOT harder to make. The armor colors are great either way. _________________ Am I the only one who read the patch notes?

| I agree with Fluttershy, the brown cloak looks better than the rainbow one does. As for your 'Lightsaber', it looks like it was a part of some woodwork, probably from the last one thousand years, might be valuable. Let me know when to exhume your corpse to reanimate it! _________________ Rarity is NOT part marshmallow. Where ever did you get the idea that I was darling?

| Let's have a little brainstorm on the shoes for this armor.
I need to make them look something like this. http://www.swtor.com/info/holonet/classes/jedi-knight
But if I try to just glue it on top of some other shoes it gets too thick and looks wrong (the foam I'm using is 19mm thick). If I split the foam to half it's thickness it bends and just look like cloth. If I make shoes of foam and nothing else, the glue won't hold them together.
Any ideas on how I can make something like that without making it look bad?
And one more thing; Do anyone have any "blueprints" for the Jedi robe. I finally found a place with cheap fabric, but I need to know what the hay I'm supposed to do with it... Or if I should just go with a pre-made one from the internet. |

| I'll go with basting gravy on that one. The rainbow one seems less paradigmaly dissonent. I guess light brown will be fine too.

| For the shoes Rainbow, I would try using Wonderflex for getting the initial shape of the armor. It is really easy to use and a very forgiving material. I used it on my Starkiller cosplay at PAX Prime last year and it worked wonders. To add thickness and more broad shapes to the boots I'd then try cutting the foam the way you like it. Then just paint it the color you want and seal it.
As for the cloak you've got me there. I don't have too much experience with fabrics, but a cloak wouldn't be too hard if you have some tailoring experience. The toughest part would be the hood. If you can try and find on pre-made, or hire a professional/talented friend to help you with it.
You can buy Wonderflex at CosplaySupplies.com, and they also have a lot of tutorials, including ones on how to use Friendly Plastic (it helps smooth the Wonderflex).

| Looking purty good, though I'm not sure if a rainbow cloak would look out-of-place on armour that's mained light blue. I think a light brown would work best, like Fluttershy said. I'd offer more input, but... I really have no experience when it comes to foamwork, or sewing, or making costumes of any sort. |
