As a respected runner of totally legit goods, I'll support the Republic as long as they keep up the free trade. I'll have none of this Sith Power trip crap to take over my legitimate shipping business.

Needs more Trooper conversation.

In the last beta weekend, I played a Vanguard up to level 20. I tanked The Esseles and Hammer Station. I must say, it was a strange feeling not having to run up to melee to be able to pull something(though I usually DID run up to melee, due to the short range on Ion Pulse and Stockstrike), but otherwise, it felt like most other tanks in MMOs.

I also did quite a lot of PvP (got up to Valor rank 17, though I have no idea what the max is. I would guess it's 50), and I REALLY enjoyed it. In nearly every match, I would get 11+ medals, while everyone else would get about 7 or so. Along with that, 90% of the time, I had the most damage done, and if I didn't, I was either 2nd or 3rd(rarely). I really enjoy being able to use my tank archetype abilities in PvP: tossing Guard on anyone that was under fire (to redirect 50% of their damage to me) and using my taunt on an enemy to reduce their damage to any target but me by 30%. I was able to keep a lot of my teammates alive, due to the simple fact that the enemy wouldn't switch off of them after I put Guard on them.

Needless to say, I really enjoyed the Vanguard AC.
