Varactyl Mounts have recently been revealed to be coming in the first of the Bounty Cartel Packs.

At least we don't have to farm Varactyl nests like we did the Tauntauns.

At first I thought it was a typo on the vid, but then I can across "Veractyls" on Section X.

No, it's... two... different... species.... Yeah, that's the ticket. They're two different species! It's like horses and zebras, if zebras were called harses or horses were called zabras or something.

But yeah, the veractyl/varactyl thing on Belsavis was strange. It's "Varactyl Vale", with "Veractyls" in it.

I find it very disappointing. After lobbying for months for the species to be available as a mount, they're only released as a Very Rare item in the Cartel boxes, and whenever sold on the Galactic Trade Network, they're priced at least ten times beyond a free-to-play user's credit allotment, making them available for only the most wealthy, either through the capacity to maintain a monthly subscription, continuous purchase of Cartel Coins, or acquire enough credits (which would still require a subscription) to purchase off the GTN. It puts so many at an unfair disadvantage. I'm not ranting angrily so much as I'm just unhappy about the whole ironic situation. -.-
