As many people in Mumble are aware, I've been working on a Pony hack of EarthBound for the Super Nintendo.

EDIT:The final game is now available.

Please inform me of anything that seem off, such as remaining human characters, inconsistent information, typos, bugs, etc

Hard to say. The fact that a lot of the graphics changes don't need to be redone and some area specific graphics were done earlier will save time, but the next demo will include Twoson, Peaceful Rest Valley, and Happy Happy Village, so it's going to cover a lot more.

I do plan to release a minor update this weekend, though. Since that's when I plan to announce the hack on Starmen.net, I'm going to make an updated version of the demo that includes the bugfixes I've done, and hopefully has a hovering sprite for Scootaloo to replace Poo's meditating sprite.

I've updated the rom to include the fixes discussed above, as well as a few other changes.

The "freezing" when you tell your dad you want to quit is a deliberate thing from the original game.
You're supposed to turn off your Super Nintendo, like he said.

As for the normal save not working, your emulator may not save the SRAM right away. In SNES9x, you can change how frequently the SRAM Autosaves in Emulation > Settings. You can also manually save the SRAM in the file menu
Most people just use Save States, though.

ahh i got my fix but now i have to wait but any way on to the report!

I've fixed all of those except the weird in battle one. I should release a patch later this week with them fixed.

The gender fix may make the game do completely insane things, since getting it to treat Dinky, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo as female required an ADM hack

when I try to go to this houses door it freezes.

For some reason, I put the completely wrong address for the text on that house.
I've fixed that, and gotten it to display full names when getting an item.

The Salad is really messed up using help on it. I got like 3 different Item descriptions including peanut cheese bar, Salad jelly and grass Salad.


Celestia got a sex Change... I guess after 1000 years you get bored of being a girl and want to try something new... (seen this my first play through but didnt get a screenshot was a bitch to try and replicate died 2 times trying to reduce her mana to 0 and get her to cast a spell for this text)


I think you might wanna look at this sentence again "I know you're here to the place of my birth, and use that magic to strength the element." also it should be strengthen.


Hard to see in a Screenshot but everytime I walked around this area the game froze I couldn't move or open the menus it didn't seem to be a photo moment as photofinish never poofed in and it wasnt a call so idk what caused it
