| So, in the past few days I've been getting constant crashes from SWTOR From what it looks like from the Customer Support forums on the main website this is a common problem that a lot of Win7 users are having with the game, so essentially I won't be able to play the game until the problem is fixed and I can stay on for longer than 10 mins at a time and then spend 10-15 mins cleaning up the crash afterwards (Win7 64 bit ends the program but not the process) Hopefully I'll see everypony in the game again this up and coming week, but I won't hold my breath |

| Make sure to repair your game multiple times, this happened to me around the time it launched, and after repairing it a few times it finally stopped crashing (It was even very frequent crashes like you are having) |

| I haven't been on much lately, so I can't tell you whether or not my Windows 7 OS will have similar problems.
Is it straight crash to desktop, or is the game giving you error 9000? I love that error. I love it so much I want to do things I shouldn't do to it.
If I don't seem to have the same issue, we could compare specs and see what's up. Don't forget to update your video drivers at the very least! |

| I run Windows 7, and I think I've had a grand total of about 3-4 crashes to desktop since launch. Did customer support say that a particular version of Windows 7 that is the problem? |

| Bioware has no clue what's going on, they've been gathering every form of info they can on everypony's affected computers sense this issue started. I've tried repairing for roughly an hour and a half straight, crashed immediately when I logged in Guesses range everywhere from something is causing stress to graphics cards and overheating them as they attempt to work it out to a fatal issue between the patch and all Intel Processors. Whatever it is, I hope they fix it soon or I just might end up looking for a different MMO to play I really wana stay with you ponies tho Edit: I've also updated video drivers, C++, Java, Flash, sound drivers, the works. The problem isn't with the computer... Also saw a post where if you uninstall, remove the SWTOR directories, run a directory erasing program on SWTOR, restart, defrag, then reinstall it will work. That sounds like a ridicules amount of things to do to fix an issue Bioware created themselves... |

| sorry, hit quote instead of edit Anyways it's completely random crashes to desktop. There is no common time interval or instigating action that causes to crash, when it happens the game freezes and Windows notices the program stopped working, scans for a solution (which it never finds for any problem), and closes the program. After which I have to end the process using the task manager. |
