Ready for my third day of stomping Imperial scum, I try to log in, only to be told I have no active subscription.

So I click the link, and then patiently waiting 20 minutes until the server selects my number out of a hat, I look to see how many days I have left. Surely they'd only lock me out when I have 0 days left, right? Wrong. I still have 27 days left.

To be fair, those were the free days that came with it, but are they really making me buy a subscription when I still have 9/10 of my free days left? This seems extremely underhanded for Bioware.

Does anyone know their number. Since it's taking me 10 minutes just to move from one page to the next. Even the forum post explaining why they're so slow is taking forever to load.

I called. And it said they were too busy.

I followed their advice, and went to the forums. They're also too busy.

I'm about to pray to God for help, but he's probably got 6 billion people he's to busy attending to.

When I read it last night, they said in order for you to play, you must have a recurring subscription set up. At the end of he 27 days you will be charged.

That is, if I read that right...

Oh yea Wilowah is correct, you have to add a credit card or game time card to your account. If you use a credit card it will charge you 1$ for validation, but nothing else until the next billing cycle. With the game time card you get the 30 free days and then it starts taking from the 60 days of the card.

That's... an adequate, if dissapointing, explanation. It's going to take a whole bunch more pleading with my parents to let me play. I'll just buy a game time card.

But there's still another question I have. If I can't play until I set up an active subscription, then how could I have logged in and played for the past 3 days?

They had a 2-day grace period to allow everyone to get the game and get their codes in.

To make things worse, it's the least secure question possible for anyone in our guild. "What is your favorite cartoon"
I'm not sure how I'm failing that.

Ye, hmm I wonder what the answer may be, perhaps the same as mine. I had the car model/make thing and I could not remember the exact typing (i.e. Did I use capitals? Was there a space? etc.) for ages.

I had trouble on getting my current residence wrong until I remembered I needed to add a "street" to the end.

Letting you guys know, I used my empty paypal account to set up a subscription, and it's working so far.

Unlike you Jedi, I can't read minds. So you tell me where you went wrong. Of course it's your fault and not the overloaded server's.

And as for my subscription, I'm afraid I won't be getting on until Christmas day, because Bioware loves to taunt you by making you pay 30 extra dollars after spending 90 already.

Called tech support. Learned that I fail at spelling.

Bastards locked my account for not remembering security questions....a week after I remembered them. =/ Now I gotta call them and think what you will but I am not exactly comfortable with telling complete strangers that my fav cartoon is MLP. Not amused.
