| I have not pre-ordered yet so I dont have that cool few-day early access (gotta finish work) but I have already started thinking of what I want to do/how to power game early.
i am hoping to find a few fellow consular to rush the story with me and get to PvP (awesome xp). I want to focus on light saber crafting so if someone wants to get synthweave then between the two of us we got good outfitting for the jedi consular. if we have a group of 4 . . .all the better!
is there already planning in the works I am not aware of? |

| I don't think there's been any sort of guild plan as of yet, but I was thinking about making a thread where things like this can be put down. Having certain people be the "______" crew skill master in the guild would be nice. They'd be the person who we might give rare recipes to or you could go to if you need something done that's beyond your level or whatever. My WoW guild had these. Our Potions guy had a second character just to gather the materials for his main so he could just sit in Dalaraan and craft potions and flasks all day. He'd then put them into the guild bank for use when the guild raided. ~D |

| well dang it lets start this!
I am pretty good at compiling information if people are willing to give some basic information and their willingness to change (if there is an imbalance)
or we could leave ti to micro organization for now. . . I still want one or two fellow consulars to join me! |

| I think pre-launch planning is great, but people need to stick to their guns or actively change their information when they decide to swap it up. For example, I have been thinking of changing my main class from Consular to Smuggler > Scoundrel > Sawbones spec. The beta really made me get into their cover system and the style of healing Operatives and Scoundrels use. Curse you indecisiveness! |

| I wasn't able to get any beta at all, so I'm not sure of play-styles or how the mechanics work from my own experience. I still intend to play a Trooper, although I'm not sure of which specialization to go into just yet. If some of you who had a chance to play could let me know how crafting was, I'd be glad to select one and work on it with gusto. |

Crafting is pretty easy and flexible. Every class can have one crafting skill and two material gathering skills to compliment it. Each companion you get (except for the robot) will get a bonus efficacy skill to one type of crafting and one type of gathering skill. By the end you have six companions so whatever crafting skill you want to do shouldn't matter, but keep it relevant to your class. For example, artifice is pretty useless for a Trooper, but Armortech or Armstech would do nicely. |

| I like the sound of Armstech, so I think I'll focus on that. Having looked at the specializations for Trooper, I still can't decide. Hopefully there will be a dual-talent system of some kind. |

I wouldn't count on a dual system at launch. A lot of people have been asking for it around the forums and BioWare has been all "Eeeehhhh maybe" about it. They like having people specialize and enjoy providing incentives for people to start a new character, even if it is just a mule. |

| Here's what I would suggest as a good starter plan:
- Group whenever possible. There's XP bonuses as well as a higher chance of good item drops. It's also a nice way of increasing your Social level. - Speaking of item drops, having some sort of equipment exchange topic would be a good idea. By organizing what equipment we have, we can see who has what. So say for example you have a Wrist armor piece whose stats is not suited for your class, but you feel that someone could use it. Make a mention of that on the topic (or voice/guild chat) and someone on the right class will make a pickup and even give give you something that can fit your class well.
I'm sure other people are thinking the same thing, so we should be able to put together an item exchange efficiently. |

| its a good idea but I dont think well need it at launch unless you're lucky and find and epic you'll out level green and blue gear fast enough to replace it before you get a response but at lvl 50 it would be very helpful to get people geared |
