Given that you cannot join a guild until you reach the... capital city, I think it said, how likely is it that we'll be setting up the Elements of Discord over the weekend?

Funny thing you mention that...I was thinking today how it would be a great time to have an Empire guild for our Alts. I wouldn't want to implement it for a while after the game comes out, but I think it's a great idea. Our focus should be on our Main toons. Alts can come after. Plus, I know if I make an alt it's all over. I have terrible Altitis.

I love using system requirements lab. I don't use it very much now that I upgraded though.

I got friday at 10:00, and now I finish up all my Networking work so that I can have the entire weekend to play.

Yeah, as soon as I can get in, i'll post what server i'm on. It'll be at 11am EST, so hopefully by like, 11:10am EST i'll have a post up here.

I think we should have one person designated to naming the official server we will be joining for the beta that way it is easier for everyone to meet in the right place. I won't be on in the morning to do that, so who ever has the earliest access should decide it.

These are the appropriate requirements for a server selector:
-Must be a Mane or Royal Guard (for resource reasons).
-Must choose the second lowest populated server. Why second? Everyone is going to see the lowest and be "let's queue for that!" Next thing you know it isn't the lowest anymore.
-Must be playing an Imperial character first. Due to the fact that most guild members are going Empire for the beta I would want the person to be able to usher in members if need be.

Also on the topic of an Imperial mirror guild, not for awhile. It was a ton of work getting one guild going let alone having two when the community is already over one-hundred. Plus I'd like everyone to focus on leveling their main for awhile that way we can start upper level raids ASAP!

I'd like to volunteer for the duty. I will be ready at 9:45am with the client open, just waiting for the moment it turns gold. I'll probably restart it every minute or so just to be sure. :p

Both Bluemaroon and I got into the 10am Friday wave, as well, so I'll probably convince him to play Empire instead of Republic so we can play with guildies.

Doombah can be in charge of posting server details for the guild. He seems like he had a plan already!

I will be taking screenshots for sure and maybe a little footage.

I'm in the first wave as well as my cousin (known here in this guild as Shqiptar; yes I need to get him to at least post on the forum). I made sure to let my cousin know about what's being planned here.

I did notice that BH and IA have the vast majority of the votes, which is making me second guessing my choice of being Bounty Hunter. I might end up going with Sith Warrior, being that it's the mirror of the class I plan on using.

For the weekend beta, what's the overall plan? Cause I know that you have to get to Dromund Kaas as Empire to get a guild charter. Is it just a race to meet at Dromund Kaas on Friday? I'd like to try the Warrior's tanking since I've only played as a DW DPS before. Looking foward to not having to be the only brony in general chat as well.

My plan is to play for 9 straight hours tomorrow. How far will I get? Hopefully to at least level 10 so I can get off the starting world and get my lightsaber.

I'll be making a post the instant i've chosen a server for us to jump on. It'll be PvE with a (hopefully) low population. Once i've chosen the server, i'll make my post here and jump into making my Sith Warrior.

This is of course assuming that the queue isn't horrendous. Which i'm expecting it to be.

10 hours is way more than enough to get to level 10. I'd say, as long as you don't dick around, 4-5 hours should get you to 10, dependant on class, but mostly if you're grouped with people. Grouping is actually faster than solo, I find.

I am set for the Saturday wave of people, and thankfully I am off, so I will be able to fool around for most of the day. Think I will try Inquisitor this time around. Should be a good change of pace from IA.

I have to be at work at 10am, sadness. I think I need an orbital friendship cannon to fire at the customers house. THEY CAN INSTALL THEIR OWN TVS.

Once I get home though, it'll be nonstop beta. Saturday is mostly free, apparently we are putting up Christmas decorations are getting drunk.

And the Can you run it site I passed with flying colors for The Old Republic. It also says the same thing for Crysis 2, which I kinda doubt.
