It was recently announced that we will be receiving 5 staggered days of Early Access.

I'm gonna make an assumption and say that since I redeemed my pre-order code 3 days after the pre-orders became available, I'll get the full 5 days. Which of course I'm happy about ^^ So December 15th is the day to look forward to if you pre-ordered early.

So, thoughts?

Hmm, only five days? I hoped for more, but I will still be happy with it. 5 days is still a lot to get a good jump on people.

I set my expectations a bit low. Guessed about 3 days, hoped for more. So I'm happy with 5 days. It'll be a decent window to climb out of the origin worlds before the mad rush crashes the servers. I'm not rushing through it though. I'm not going for the first to 50 on the server.

This actually makes me feel a bit better about not having pre-ordered yet. I usually don't like to pre-order things until all the cards are on the table, so I was afraid I was going to be like 2 weeks behind. A few days is no big deal though. Besides, I intend to take my time with the story, so I'll probably fall behind everyone anyway.

That's...a little disappointing. I'm not going to rage over it, but I was expecting at the very least a week. Granted, it's not that far off and it'll start on a Thursday and go through the weekend (i'll know what days I need to take off of work now!), so it'll be a good time. My goal is to reach at least level 10 and be off of Tython by the actual release date. I don't think that's unreasonable.

I hope I don't have any tests on Thursday or Friday because I will bomb them. TOR > School for at least a month.

This is honestly really bad timing for me, because I have to work during those days, so even the early access won't do anything for me.

Not mad at Bioware, it's just bad timing on my part, so I'm afraid I can't help out immediately.

I'll likely be working that Thursday and Friday. I'm supposedly getting a week off for Christmas, but I'm not exactly holding my breath. So at the very least, worst case I should get just the weekend during Early Access. I guess I'll just save some Monsters from that weekend.

So the Early access is probably bad timing for everyone who has a job or goes to school, aka 90% of TOR's player base. Unless half the US and EU call in sick those days? lol.

I'll be out of school by then =D My only problem will be having to download everything. I've got a slow internet connection -.-;

From what I understand, the client will be available to download before the early access. So even with a slow connection, you'll get all your days worth. It'll be a huge download I'm sure.

I'm gonna have to cancel all my plans for that weekend.

I might not be able to make it in the beginning.
