So I'm hosting a party for the premiere of season 2 this weekend, only about 5-6 people total will be there, and I need ideas.

Definitely going to have booze, we will probably do a run to the liquor store nearby. Probably get a bunch of soda and juice for mixing.

Not sure if I should go all the way and get some streamers and balloons. Probably getting cupcakes and muffins for snacks.

Any suggestions?

probably no games, as funny as that would be. Thats also the day we have set aside 9 hours for a full game of Twilight Imperium with 5 players.

Making themed drinks before the party. Mixing alcohol with sparkling grape juice and naming it "Twilight Sparkle".

How are these ideas?

If there's going to be booze, get that list of pony mixed drinks. Make the mixed drinks. Drink the mixed drinks. Take lots of video and post it on youtube, labeled as Drunk Bronies. Bonus points to all who proclaim undying love to Rarity and swear that they'll fight Spike to the death to have her.

Make a drinking game for the new episode. Every time Twilight raises her voice take a drink, and etc.

We had a drinking game for Best Night Ever. Did not end too well. I think I consumed about a 1/4 of a very large bottle of vodka. Hangover lasted forever.

We will probably be watching old eps, and I'll look into the mixed drink list.

It's an image, you could probably find it on Ponibooru. Or alternatively you could wait until I get home tonight and I could post the version I have.

You should have a large bottle of hot sauce for the cupcakes.
You should bring a small alligator.

Because it's pony now.

Problem with the drinking chart, is that I'd have to go out and get a ton of different liquors and stuff to mix with, and I just don't have the money for that.

Then plan for just one or just a few. You don't necessarily have to go out for ALL of them do you?

Alright well here is the status:

Got muffins and cupcakes for snacks. (was thinking about apples, specifically Gala apples, but decided against it)
Pink balloons and streamers are up.
Pony posters are put up. (Mane 6 obama-hope posters, Celestia, and Derpy (who is upside down) and a Celestia Deal with it poster. Deal with it is on my front door . Printer didn't have color ink so it had to be a B/W run of the posters, which I'm just gonna say Discord stole the color heh)
Got some alcohol, mostly weak stuff for now.
Got some soda for mixing.

Stuff left to do:
Get the hard stuff.
Get the episode. (hopefully it will be uploaded by 7 pm pacific tomorrow ><

I'll try and steal my roommates camera and get some pics.
