I'll prob pick the same name and legacy I use on my BH on Fatman then.

So basically, if we have to transfer to a new server, we have to pick new names and legacy names if they are taken....fuck that. I will just stay on Vornskr, or transfer one of my alts if I am so inclined.

I understand why they're doing this, but goddamned if it isn't annoying as shit.

I'll probably just end up transferring my 8 toons over to whatever server we end up on so I can have them all in the guilds.

We need to have a plan in place before we're forced to. The manes and maybe even the RGs need to have a Mumble chat about this just so there's no confusion. Also, we need to make sure our guild name isn't taken anywhere else (I don't think it is). As for individual names and Legacy names...yeah. That sucks ass. I don't think it's going to affect me, but you never know.

Here's hoping this goes as well as possible given the circumstances.

I'm going to need to do this too. And Yay, the possibility of getting the name Derpy! Derpy Hooves and now exist!

All i can hope for is that there aren't many doctor who fans in west coast america, which is what my legacy and 4 of my character names are based off of.

On the contrary, I think there will be another destination server. Both Drooga's Pleasure Barge and The Harbinger were listed as "Full" on the TOR website last night. People were having to queue to get in on a Wednesday evening, being only the second day of transfers. There are seven west coast PvE servers left unlisted, there is no way they are going to fit all of them into the existing destination servers. Most likely they will compile those seven into one more destination server. I would be extremely happy with this outcome, as an overly full server would be just as bad as our current situation.

According to torstatus, three of those seven servers are ahead of us in population, but obviously not by much.

I took long enough reserving my names on the two servers, I guess I will just go with the ones I actually use and can make different ones later.

As far as forum activity is concerned Veebo Lunx has none, Darth Sion has a little bit (one post today, otherwise everything in May) and Zakkeg Beast has about the same as us.

Yeah, I don't understand their thinking here. If your server is chosen as an origin server, you're kind of forced to transfer off of it or you'll be left on a ghost town. If someone thinks it's hard to find a group now, try doing it in a week or two when everyone's gone. But they're funneling everyone into just a handful of servers, which is causing the opposite problem. Like Pinkie Pie said, the destination servers all have queues now in the middle of the week. Wait until the weekend, it'll be a huge pain just to log in to them. Call me impatient, but I'm not willing to pay $15 a month so I can sit and wait my turn to play a computer game. Especially when the stupid game crashes. I just don't understand how they think this is better.

They can increase the population cap,which is probably what they will do after monitoring.
