So...if i'm reading that right, my Shadow Tank isn't as able to heal himself or shield himself anymore.

They are really making tanks better to play in this patch. Doubling bonus threat from stances alone will be great, but improving the damage, threat, and CC interruption of our AOE's is just amazing.

But you guys are missing the most important thing!

This seems like it will make tanking extremely easy. If you ever lose threat you must be sleeping or something...

Did... Did Guardian tanks just get de-sucked? I may have to log on to Vinyl again.

The Party Instigator and Galactic Party Bomb now function correctly and are available on the appropriate Social vendors.

The passive stats on all top-level Matrix Cubes have been increased.

The Rhythm Augmentation Droid now lasts for 5 minutes (up from 30 seconds).

Some headpieces that previously displayed severe graphical issues with Miralukan facemasks have been made invisible on Miralukan characters. - No more double face masks Sad

Corrected an issue with relics that could allow for them to damage friendly and heal hostile enemies. - I remember Shy doing this once.

Mod extraction costs have been reduced by 30%.

New weekly missions to defeat various Heroic World Bosses are now available on the Fleets.

Killing bosses in Nightmare Mode now gives credit for the [VEHICLE] Aratech Nightscythe and the [VEHICLE] Praxon Firaxa missions.

The shuttle to and from the Black Hole area can now be used to transport players directly to their personal starships.

Players are no longer flagged for PvP if they use their class buff on a player that is flagged. - Yay, less Space Herpies

Players no longer see mission loot beams on corpses that have a mission item for another group member.

Players can now choose to enable a predictive tab targeting indicator, which will display an icon next to the enemy next in line for tab targeting. -SOOOOOO HAPPY!

Ground-targeted area of effect targeting reticules now appear green if they are friendly (and won't cause player damage) and red if the player will be damaged.

SOOO useful, particularly when Alderaan is also same faction now...booo!

An issue that could cause the global cooldown to incorrectly occur when rapidly attempting to use multiple abilities has been corrected.

YES, No more 'oops, you died cuz my Deliverance didn't activate for the millionth time.'

AMAZING Jugg/Guardian changes, both in Single Saber Mastery and the Defence/Immortal tree

Sadly no healing improvements.

Corrected an issue that caused players to be teleported out of the phase if they reached some remote areas of the minefield.

Possibly not causing the tank to have to activate the button again and helping us beat the enrage?

Weee, no more do we have to do HM.

Players are no longer removed from their current group when they join a Warzone. While a player is in a Warzone, all functions affect the Warzone group. Players that are not in the Warzone will see the original group normally, and when the Warzone is over, players in the Warzone will be able to interact with their original group.

YAY!

The "on use" abilities on relics can no longer be used inside Warzones. PvP relics (such as the Recruit, Battlemaster, and War hero relics) now have passive boosts to the same stats that the "on use" ability affected.
New relics that offer "on hit" triggered abilities are now available from PvP vendors.
Warzone Expertise Adrenals have been renamed to Warzone Adrenals. The item now only provides PvP Damage Reduction and does not boost healing or damage.
Adrenals that were craftable by Biochemists before 1.3 can no longer be used in PvP areas. Biochemists can now craft a version of the Warzone Adrenal.
The duration of the Warzone Adrenal has been reduced to 15 seconds (down from 25) to match the duration of other Adrenals.


Wee BW have noticed that healing was still possible in WZ's and had to prevent it.

Corrected a terrain issue that allowed players to reach the middle objective from the other objectives faster than intended.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!! No more Parkour.

Player weapons during looping emote animations are now stowed away more consistently.

Owww, I liked dancing with my saber out.

The Miraluka social ability, Sense Force Alignment, now properly reflects only the target's Force alignment.

Took a while.

And yes, 5...freaking....minutes of Music and a reason to get social 10 again!!!!

Looks very interesting, this update. Should be good fun to see what has been changed.

Jedi Guardian ReSpec? Well, I wasn't satisfied with my Jedi anyway, but it'd be interesting to see what can be improved because of this.

Speeders at level 10? Well, my smuggler will make excellent use of that if he isn't up to level 25 by the time the update is out.

The Warzone updates look good so far. The Ranked Warzones especially; shame I can't access those yet. Razz

Can't wait to see this stuff implemented.

To be honest, making it difficult to hold threat is an extremely lazy way to make boss fights harder. Yes it will be easier to hold threat now, but if that is your biggest concern as a tank then the boss is very poorly designed. I'm looking at you, Foreman Crusher.

I was exaggerating, I don't know how the new Relics will work yet and since my char didn't get copied to PTS I probably won't until 1.3 hits. From what I can tell, I can't use my relic to give me a quick healing boost and nor can I use the expertise adrenal for it (even though I was generally using it defensively anyway so that won't be too much of a change.) How the fact that damage is also lessened translates to healing remains to be seen.

Also the NEW Project...blink and you'll miss it.



Come play SWTOR, and chose a faction, either the awesome, developer-favoured, no expense spent Empire or the backwater, 'because we had to have an opposing faction' Republic. Disgrace.

Well wipes caused by tanks losing threat makes up an extremely small percentage of our wipes.

-15% increase affection and 30% increased xp from things are just. not. worth. the. credits.
I would expect at least a +100% for XP and a +200% for affection at those credit costs.
Guess my Ashara will stay at 500 affection forever then.

They gave me a quest reward window which let me choose a bag which contains full recruit set or an item that can be sold at the price of the full recruit set (320k credits). And i have 4 50 chars Twisted Evil

Ayep =). I also have a lvl 44 and a lvl 41 atm so by the time it releases I might get it 6 times.

Who the hell would bother taking the recruit set anyways. Better to buy 1-2 pieces of battlemaster with the comms you had from <50 pvp and then buying the other recruit pieces you need with the money.

Damion Schubert (Principal Lead Systems Designer): The Group Finder has absolutely been designed to allow 2- or 3-person groups to find the missing players to complete that group. Apparently you can queue with a group of up to 3 players using the group finder and as long as you do not 'cherrypick' you will still get the daily rewards (Black Hole Comms). I guess we could also cheat and queue one group of 3 and a single person at the same time.

Or 3, 3, 2 for Story Ops.

Yeah i also got a character copied across but They accidentely coppied it twice so i have a character called what my character is called and another one called "ADLKHOISK"
