Okay, so the idea here is that I'm going to take advantage of the fact that I don't need Plasma Cell active to use Ionic Accelerator until 1.2 (one of the changes).

With High Energy Cell active, I can be taking advantage of the energy generation from BOTH Tactics (Cell Generator) AND Assault Specialist (High Friction Bolts + Ionic Accelerator - Incendiary Round may count as keeping the target burning).

So I'll have silly ammo regeneration.

In addition, I will have BOTH the free + 90% armor penetration + instant cooldown High Impact Bolts + the auto-crit ones from Stockstrike and Gut.

Shenanigans if all goes as planned? I think so.

Now where should I put that last point?

True, but there's also the PvP utility in the other trees. So many choices: Rapid Recharge, Nightvision Scope, Frontline Defense, Tactical Tools, Containment Tactics...

Nightvision scope: no. Stealth detection is terrible and stealth scan is even worse since it doesn't work half the time.
Containment tactics: 5s isn't gonna make the difference and seeing as how it fills resolve stuns are only a last resort for me if I see that our team won't be able to get the ball carrier otherwise (outside huttball it's definitely worse than the damage bonus to HIB)
Tactical Tools: seeing as how Vanguards are close ranged the harpoon could be useful. Pulse cannon is kinda meh since your build doesn't use it.
Rapic Recharge: It's easy for troopers to keep their ammo high enough. You should be able to play without ever needing recharge cells.

Brutal Impact: Your build focuses on making your HIP a mass damage dealer. So why not make it even more insane?


All comes down on your own playstyle though. Do you see yourself use recharge cells or dropping below max regen a lot? Do you reallyyyyyyyyyy hate stealth? Are you harpooning everything whenever you can and cry when it's on cd? Do you just want to see the world burn...in cryo grenades?
