I decided to take a break from everything a few weeks ago to learn more about drawing in Flash CS5.
I also wanted to try my skills on a pony. :3
It started out as either Dash or Twilight (it was hard to tell the difference..)

But it turned out to be a new pony. It turned out to be... ME! ..In pony form. :3

I call him : Verdant Binary.

His special talent is Programming, which is why his cutie mark is binary code. :3
For those who cant read it : 01000011 01110101 01110100 01100101.
(you'll figure it out. Wink

)

This was my very second attempt at making him.(First one was no good at all..)

Yes. The binary is the background is a serious code.
It's my movement code in ActionScript 3. Or my constructor. I was messing with both of them at the time.

I decided to run an experiment on myself : How fast can I draw Verdant after making 4 pictures?
The answer : 1 hour and around 50 minutes. Complete with color and everything.

Before I made the one above I made this.
I just wanted to make a regular flying picture of him.
It pretty much wouldn't stop before I had Rainbow Dash and a sonic rainboom in it too. Somewhat. Muffins!?!

That's basically all I have so far. I'll try to make more in order to get better with flash ( something I need for school ) .

Your OC's mane colors reminds me of mustard and ketchup. "Sonic Condimentboom!"

Looks good though, the flying one turned out very nice!

The Binary code for the cutie mark is good. I tried figuring it out and got some values, but it is not making sense. Muffins!?!

I don't think I can figure it out with my basic skills. Smile

Got two more pictures now. Yay~!

First one : I spent some time trying to make a new code for moving my character around. It works much better than the one I learned in school. : D

He's actually using an miniature version of the famous "PonyBoard" from Equestrian Innovations. :3
It's one of the early beta versions though, but it still works great. Cupcaaakes~!

This made me appreciate flash animations even more than I already did. :3
It's actually harder than it looks.

Yeah.. I don't know about that one. That would have me crossing over into the realm of "yaoi".

I actually have a r63 version of my oc named Ileke. Have yet to actually try making what she looks like. But she's a little bit mean.
