Yea glad got moved up from january 1 but might be hard for me to take vacation at that time was planning on a week off

Right around my birthday, awesome. Here's hoping that nothing fowls up the process, that there isn't some sort of massive EMP that wipes the servers of all their data meaning they have to start from scratch pushing the release date back.

But hopefully that won't happen. Hopefully.

Looks like I'll be cancelling my Christmas plans with family d:

And I get a week off work on that week regardless. It's a month later than I was expecting but all in all, I'm happy with the date. I wonder when Early Access starts.

According to the announcement on their website. Europe's release will be the 22nd. Also subscription rates have been added, so be sure to check out the home page. I'll probably grab a three month subscription to start with.

Stupendous! It's a little later than I'd hoped, but at least it wasn't delayed. Given that the release date in Europe is two days later than America, I wonder if our European guildies will get early access at the same time.

I just got off the "line" with Bioware and we have to wait until the release in Europe to play....
I love Bioware but at the same time I hate their guts.
So for me and Luna the chance is almost zero to get our names in-game....
Unless somepony can make some characters with those names asap and just delete them as we're making ours? :3

Now I have a confirmed date for when I can play on my republic alt with you guys.

Also on the topic of names, I am considering opening up a system for reserving names for guild mates. There is no way I am going to end up using all 8 of my character slots near launch, so I would be willing to devote 7 of them towards reserving names. I also pre-order and registered two days after pre-orders started so I will probably be in the first group of early releases increasing my chances of getting the names. If there is demand for a name reserving system I will make a more formal way of registering for it. Europeans will get priority though.

Speaking of acquiring the names we want, does anyone know or think the name Pedo Bear might get flagged or be allowed to be in use in the game?

Could you reserve the name Tharissa for me? My Jedi character has been named that since I made her (way back in Kotor 1), and I will be terribly annoyed if I can't use that name xD
How will we be sure that nobody takes the name after you delete the placeholder chara but before I make mine?

Also, I really should ass myself into pre-ordering now. I originally wanted the digital deluxe edition, but it was sold out way before I even thought of preordering, so I'll just have to go with a normal copy.

Well, that also means I'll have to ass myself into fixing my fucked up Origins account. I had an old EA-games account, which is now Origins, but I can't remember the password and the Origins password retrieval system sucks, so... Yeah.

I'll be willing to save a name or two. I woke up, got the preorder notice from either kotaku or my email, and preordered the day it was announced, so I should be on pretty early.

I think that once the end of November comes around, we should make a thread that will be a place for people to put down names they want reserved by fellow guildies. I'm more than willing to have a placeholder or two for other folks who won't have access right off the bat.

I'm also curious about the early access. Is it going to be the 6th for a full two weeks, or the 13th for a week or maybe the 10th for 10 days? Maybe the 8th for the 12 days of Christmas? XD

I got my pre-order code entered on the second day, so I'm guessing I should be in decently early enough to help save a few names as well.

Yeeehaw! That is great news!

Congratulations every Europony! Now you don't have to worry about someone not grabbing your name for you. Good luck in getting your names though, all the Manes are going to have a tough time.

Since the Early access is being done in Waves, people who get in the first wave should try to reserve the names more likely to get grabbed for other people, if they can.

I know I'll be using free character slots for that.
