So yeah, I need a place to watch season 2 premiere.
Previously, I have watched pony by using the youtube vids as they go up. I would have done that to this episode too, but *Applebloom voice* Ah want it NAOH!

Does anyone know a livestream or something of the premiere?

I would like to know this as well, with the unlikely event that I actually get up in time to watch the ponies (I'd need to get up around 6:30 ish when I usually get up at 9).

Well, a few days back EQ made a post about a group wanting to stress test their stream so they could broadcast live on Saturday morning. There were just over 200 people viewing and there were some hiccups. I imagine that there will be closer to 1000 for the viewing of the episode.

They're just going to turn the tv on and focus the webcam on it. They were practicing on Batman Beyond and it looked pretty good.

Lets see... The episode airs at 09:00 eastern time in America, correct?
If so, then it airs around 15:00 for me here in Norway.

Say, how is the sound quality for the livestream? I hate watching...anything, really, with bad sound quality. And pictures too, while at it.
Infact, I want this viewing to be optimal xD

If I recall correctly, near the end of season one, low quality episodes were hitting youtube within a couple of hours of the premiere. Unfortunately, HD quality videos usually took a day or two. I have a feeling that there will be a much faster turnaround for this season, however.

Still, "low" quality on youtube is still better than a webcam IMO.
I think I'll be trying to catch it on youtube then. ^^

If you think that the livestream is a webcam, you are incorrect. It will be streamed directly from the television source. I watched it when they were testing it, it was actually quite good quality. It wasn't HD, but still good.
